Joel tied the legendary Abdul-Jabbar with his streak.

Joel Embiid competed through an ankle problem to push his 30-10 streak to 13 matches, with 31 points and 10 boards in his team’s 121-111 triumph against the Toronto Raptors.

Joel notched all 31 points after landing badly trying to block a shot in the final 6 minutes of the 1st quarter.

The 30-10 run is the longest in the league since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar did it for 16 consecutive matches in 1971-72. Just 2 other basketballers in NBA history have recorded 30 points and 10 rebounds in at least 13 consecutive games – Elgin Baylor and Wilt Chamberlain (6 different times).

The 76ers center also notched 30 points or more in 14 consecutive matches, the most in the National Basketball Association since James Harden had a 32-match streak in 2018-19.

“I saw that I wasn’t being aggressive,” Embiid admitted after notching only 2 points in the 1st quarter.
