AC Milan will make a new attempt to sign Lille’s top scorer Jonathan David during the winter transfer window, Italian media reports.
The Rossoneri have been following the Canada international for years and even made an attempt to sign him last summer, two years before his contract expired, but then the transfer did not happen because of the high transfer fee Lille wanted, which is rumored to be 60 million euros.
Currently, Milan’s main forward is Olivier Giroud, who is doing great job, but is 37 years old and can’t be relied on the busy schedule for much longer.

Jonathan David has 2 goals since the start of the season in Ligue 1 and another 2 in the Conference League, but ended last campaign with 24 goals for his club. David, 23, is now evaluated at 40 million euros, as his contract has less than 18 months left.
