AC Milan are reportedly close to securing the signing of Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee, as per journalist Nicolo Schira.
The “Rossoneri” are prepared to trigger the 23-year-old’s release clause, which is set at €40 million.
Zirkzee is eager to join Milan, with an agreement already in place for a contract extending until the summer of 2029, offering him a salary of €5 million per season.
The final obstacle in the transfer is the agent commission fees. Zirkzee’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, is demanding €15 million for the transfer, while Milan is only willing to pay €8 million.

However, a compromise may be reached following a recent meeting between Joorabchian and the club’s management.
In the previous season, Zirkzee played 37 matches across all competitions for Bologna, scoring 12 goals and providing 7 assists. The Dutch forward’s non-participation in Euro 2024 allows him to finalize his transfer to Milan in the coming days.
