AC Milan owner back Amorim to win Serie A with Milan

RedBird Capital chief Gerry Cardinale has spoken about the current state of Rossoneri and given his full support to the current manager. Despite the inconsistent beginning of the season, the American believes that Ruben Amorim is the right head coach for the long-term success of AC Milan.

Cardinale shared that the team is not looking for short-term fixes but rather a sustainable path to be among the top clubs in Europe. “I believe in Amorim. At the end of Top Gun, ‘my’ film, there’s a great line: ‘I’m not leaving my wingman’, Tom Cruise shares. And I’m not leaving Amorim. His job is not in any danger. I will fully support him. I won’t repeat the mistake made in the last few seasons. Ruben is my head coach, and we will continue to work together until we lift the club to the top of European football.”

Rossoneri owner also added that he thinks it is possible for Amorim to lift the Scudetto even in the current campaign.
