AC Milan have submitted their official bid for Porto striker Mehdi Taremi as there have been negotiations with the Portuguese club for a long time, Calciomercato reports.
There are only a few days left until the end of the summer transfer window, so Milan do not have much time to complete this transfer. However, the club believes that with the help of the agent Jorge Mendes, an agreement will be reached with Porto and the Iranian will arrive at San Siro.
Taremi’s contract expires in 10 months, so Porto are under pressure to sell him if they want to get a transfer fee for him. The player himself is also insisting on being allowed to join Milan.
The Rossoneri are said to have offered just under €20 million for the striker, who has been with Porto since 2020 when he was signed from Rio Ave. He has 80 goals and 49 assists in 151 games. He is also an Iranian international with 33 goals in 66 games.
