Al Ahli wins Jeddah’s derby vs. Al Ittihad 1-0

Al Ahli defeated Al Ittihad 1-0 at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah as the triumph secured the former Milan and Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie with his goal in the 1^st half.

The only goal in the clash came in the 31^st minute as Franck Kessie netted it after Feras Al Brikan’s assist.

The home side had 16 goal attempts during the game and 4 shots on goal but failed to score a goal. In the extra time, Karim Benzema scored, and the home fans thought that the former Real Madrid superstar secured the point in the last possible moment, but VAR checked and disallowed the goal for offside.
