N’Golo Kante has joined Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ittihad on a 3-year deal and will partner his compatriot Karim Benzema, who already signed with the team.
“One time I told you you are the best player box-to-box in the world,” said Benzema “Now I’m happy to play with you again. And of course, at the best team in Saudi. See you in Jeddah.”
Kante spent 7 years with Chelsea, winning pretty much everything there is to be won – a Champions League, Premier League, Europa League and FA Cup. He is also a World Cup winner with France in 2018.

The 32-year-old is believed to be paid around $100 million across the length of the deal at Al-Ittihad, who clinched the title in Saudi Arabia ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr.
The inclusion of Kante is yet another boost for the Saudi Arabia’s league, which is attracting more and more world class soccer names.
