Alexis Sanchez’s second stint at Inter Milan may be short-lived, as per reports from “Football Italia,” with the new head coach of Al Ittihad, Marcelo Gallardo, expressing interest in bringing the forward to the Saudi Arabian team as early as January.
The Chilean international had previously been with Inter from 2019 to 2022 before leaving as a free agent for Olympique Marseille. He returned a year later, again on a free transfer, and has contributed with two goals in 12 appearances across all competitions this season.
However, speculations are already circulating that the 35-year-old player is ready to make a move to Saudi Arabia. Gallardo, who recently took charge at Al Ittihad last month, is rumored to be keen on adding the veteran forward to his squad. The potential transfer could mark the next chapter in Sanchez’s career, as he could join Al Ittihad in the upcoming January transfer window.
