Alcaraz beats Medvedev in straight sets and tops Group B

Carlos Alcaraz, world number 2, defeated world number 3, Daniil Medvedev, 2-0 sets and advanced to the elimination phase of the tournament in Turin, where he will play in the ½ finals against the world number 1 – Novak Djokovic, who finished 2^nd in Group A after Jannik Sinner defeated Holger Rune yesterday and helped the Serbian to advance.

In the 2^nd set, everything went routine until Medvedev served to make it 5-4, but that’s the moment when the Spaniard broke his serve and then served for the match and won the game without a problem without losing a point.
