World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz advances to the third round of Wimbledon after a 3-0 set win (6-4, 7-6 (2), 6-3) over France’s Alexander Muller in 2 and a half hours of play.
In the first game the Spaniard had a break point, but was unable to take advantage of it. Then, in the fourth game, he saved three opportunities that appeared in front of Müller, and in the seventh game, he managed to break to take the lead and win the first part 6:4.
In the second set, neither tennis player was able to win his opponent’s serve and it came to a tiebreak. The world number 1 gave only two points to Muller and took a 2-0 set lead. With a late break in the eighth game of the third set, Alcaraz was able to close out the match, fending off two break points in the ninth game to win the match 3-0.

In the next round, the Spaniard will play against the winner of the pair Jason Kubler – Nicolas Jarry.
