Carlos Alcaraz gave no chance to Novak Djokovic and beat him 3-0 sets at Arthur Ashe Stadium in the Big Apple to reach the US Open final as the most competitive set was the 2nd, which the Spaniard won after a tiebreak.
An early break for Alcaraz was enough for the Spaniard to win the 1st set as he beat Djokovic 6-4 without allowing any break opportunities to his Serbian opponent.

In the 2nd set, however, Nole struck 1st and broke Carlos’ serve and took a 3-0 games lead, but after that, Alcaraz returned the break and tied 3-3 games. The set was decided after a tiebreak in which Djokovic won only 1 of his serves and lost it as the Spaniard took a 2-0 lead, and that was the crucial moment after which it became clear that Carlos would triumph.
In the 3rd set, Nole lost his serve when he was trying to tie the result 2-2, and Carlos took a 3-1 lead. Alcaraz broke Nole’s serve again and won the 3rd set 6-2 to close the ½ final in New York.
In the final, Alcaraz will play against either Sinner or Auger-Aliassime as the Italian is the huge favorite to win the upcoming match and face his big competitor for the Grand Slams in the past 2 years.
