Top seeded Carlos Alcaraz flew into the quarter-finals of the Queen’s Club in style after beating Jiri Lehecka 6-2 6-3 on Thursday.
Alcaraz is playing on grass for the first time this week since his fourth-round exit at Wimbledon last year. The Spaniard made an early break to take a 2-0 lead. Carlos did not allow any shocks on his serve, and at no point did Lehecka reach a break point in the first set. On the contrary, Alcaraz made a second break to close the part 6:2.
The second set started again with an early break for Alcaraz, who took a 2-0 game lead. At 5:2, the Spaniard reached a match point, but Lehecka managed to escape and reduce his deficit to 3:5. However, with his serve, Alcaraz reached two more match points, the second one this time being realized and closing the match with 6:3.

In the last eight Alcaraz will face Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov who defeated Francisco Cerundolo in two sets as well 6:3; 7:5.
