The 34-year-old was not present in Wednesday’s exhibition game against San Jose and now seems to be on his way to miss a significant portion of the new campaign.
The veteran signed a four-year deal with the Ducks over the summer, worth $25m after spending 11 seasons with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
He has won 2 Stanley Cup and has bagged 198 goals in his 11-year stint at Lightning.
The news of Killorn’s injury is another blow for the Ducks, who have been in a difficult spot with negotiations with players such as Trevor Zegras and Jamie Drysdale. They both have missed training camp and all of a sudden the team might find itself with a very limited roster for the start of the 2023-24 campaign.
