Despite late efforts from Olen Zellweger and Mason McTavish in the third period, the Ducks couldn’t overcome the Canucks’ lead.

Arturs Silovs, making his first NHL appearance since March 6, 2023, showcased his skills with 20 saves in goal for Vancouver.

Lukas Dostal made 27 saves for the Ducks, who suffered their fifth consecutive loss following a 6-1 defeat to the Oilers. The Canucks maintain their position at the top of the Pacific Division standings, sitting six points ahead of the Oilers. Vancouver secured their playoff spot on Saturday, marking their first postseason appearance since 2020.
