All tickets for Wembanyama’s debut in Las Vegas are sold out

No. 1 overall draft pick Victor Wembanyama will make his NBA debut on Friday, and tickets for the Las Vegas Summer League game are now sold out.

The 7 ft 2 Frenchman will be in the squad for the match between the San Antonio Spurs and the Charlotte Hornets, whose ranks include Brendan Miller, selected at number 2 in the draft at the end of last month.

Thus, for only the fifth time in history, tickets for a Summer League match are completely sold out. The last such case was in 2019, when the average price of tickets for Zion Williamson’s debut with the New Orleans Pelicans reached $86. Tickets sold for Wembanyama’s first game are $96 on average, statistics show.

Another interesting statistic for the spectators who will watch Wembanyama live is that only 2 percent of them live in the state of Nevada, and 98 percent come from outside the state.
