Ruben Amorim sent a message to all of his critics who want him sacked from Manchester United as the Portuguese manager led his team to a 2-1 win vs. Liverpool at Anfield. This was the 1st time since Ruben became the boss of the Red Devils at the end of last year that the club had triumphed back-to-back EPL games.
At the beginning of the campaign, many specialists predicted that Amorim would not finish the season with Manchester United and that he could be sacked by the end of 2025. However, after the Portuguese head coach finally won straight games in the Premier League, Amorim now hit back at his critics as he spoke with the media after his team’s victory at Anfield for the 1st time in almost 10 years:
„The victory is really crucial, because I don’t have many victories with the Red Devils. It is a huge milestone to win two consecutive games in the league, as we did perfectly all the small things that we wanted to improve. I want to thank the fans who supported a head coach who all wanted to be sacked before Christmas.”
