Ducks signed a 3-year contract with the defenceman.

The Anaheim Ducks have agreed to a 3-year, almost 7 million-dollar deal with Jamie Drysdale.

The young defenceman only played in 8 matches in the past campaign after being injured with a torn labrum in his left shoulder.

The 21-year-old player has his 1st full campaign in the National Hockey League during the 2021-22 season, finishing with 4 goals and 32 points in 81 matches.

Drysdale was picked 6th overall by Anaheim in the 2020 NHL Draft and has 7 goals and 40 points in his 113 matches in the league.

Ducks’ off-campaign was completed after the other key restricted free agent, Trevor Zegras, also inked a contract a few days ago. He signed a 3-year, 17.25 million dollar deal extension as he will earn almost 4 million dollars per year. Zegras finished his 3-year, entry-level deal last campaign.
