The expanded tournament is set to take place in the USA next summer, featuring 32 clubs from Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas and Oceania.
Only 3 places are left available for the competition, with Los Blancos qualifying by triumphing with the UCL in 2022 and this year.
However, Ancelotti shared in an interview today that Real Madrid and other teams will reject the invitation to play at the Club World Cup.
“Footballers and teams won’t participate in that competition,” Carlo claimed. “One single Los Blancos match is worth 20 million euros, and FIFA wants to give us that amount for the entire Club World Cup. We will reject our place.”
Ancelotti added that other teams will also refuse to play at the tournament next summer.
