Carlo Ancelotti revealed that he wants Los Blancos star Toni Kroos to reconsider his decision to call it a career after helping Real Madrid triumph with a record 15th UCL trophy in a 2-0 win vs. Borussia Dortmund.
Toni won his 6th Champions League gold medal – 5 with the Spanish giants, and 1 with Bayern Munich – at Wembley, but the German shared earlier this campaign that he will no longer play football after appearing with Germany at the upcoming Euro in his home country.
Despite that, Real Madrid boss, after witnessing Kroos create the opening goal for Dani Carvajal with a pinpoint delivery from a corner, revealed that he and the team are dreaming about Toni playing for Real Madrid next season.
“I appreciate everything that Kroos did for Los Blancos,” Carlo shared. “Kroos finished at the very top; there is no way to quit at the highest point than this. Toni had the boldness to finish his career, and he is a Real Madrid legend.”
