The Bucks superstar’s left Achilles tendon is fully intact and when we will see him again on the court will depend on how quickly his left calf strain heals.
Milwaukee didn’t share anything about their superstar availability for the beginning of the postseason as they revealed that they will evaluate him regularly.
“Without a doubt, there was some relief that he can play basketball again soon,” Milwaukee manager Doc Rivers shared with the media.
Doc added that he is optimistic that Giannis will return for the beginning of the postseason.
“No timeline when he will step on the court, but we’ve got the best professionals working with him,” the Bucks head coach claimed.
Giannis left Tuesday night’s win against the Celtics in the 3rd quarter after crumpling to the floor as his teammates assisted him to return to the locker room.
