The attorney of the star of the Minnesota Timberwolves spoke to the media and said that Anthony Edwards would protect himself from the 3rd-degree charges against him for the chair accident that injured two female staff members of the Denver Nuggets.
Harvey Steinberg, who will defend the star of the Wolves, announced today that he disapproves and blame the Denver police for the charges against his client.
“With the match over, Edwards’s exit from the venue was partially stopped by a chair, which he moved and set down 3 steps later.
As video of the episode support, the Minnesota player did not swing the chair at anyone and, of course, did not aim to injure anyone,” the lawyer added. “Edwards intends to vigorously defend against these unsupported charges.”
