Mikel Arteta has claimed the Gunners’ “dream is still alive” and warned his footballers to “live the moment” as they try to defeat the Sky Blues for the EPL trophy.
Arsenal must win against Everton in London on Sunday and wait for Man City to drop points at Etihad against West Ham to win their 1st Premier League title since 2004.
However, the chances are not in Arsenal’s favor as on the previous 9 occasions, the race has gone to the last match, and the club leading before the final day has won the league in all of them.
“The single thing that we talked about is that we must give ourselves a chance to live a beautiful day on the final day where the dream is still alive and it can happen,” Arteta shared with the media today.
“It is our favorite game, and once we’re there, we have to live in the moment. We must show our game like we did in the previous games, knowing that for the dream to happen, we have to triumph.”
"We have to wish for the best…" 🔮
