Mikel Arteta shared that he doesn’t blame VAR for his side’s 2-0 loss at Emirates against West Ham and that the only thing to blame is the Gunners’ lack of goals as that was the reason for the defeat.

Tomás Soucek netted the 1st goal in the match in the 13th minute, but VAR checked the goal to see if the ball may have gone out as Jarrod Bowen pulled it back, but the decision on the pitch remained as the video assistant referee couldn’t find proof that the ball left.
“I haven’t watched it, [but] they’re saying it’s not conclusive,” shared the Spaniard. “It’s unprofessional that with our technology, it’s not that clear so that we can decide whether it’s out or in. It’s done. It’s gone. That’s not something that Arsenal can control.
“If the VAR we have in our possession is not good enough to give us that answer, we have to score goals to triumph. With our club’s chances against the Hammers, that should have been 3 points for us, not a defeat.”
“it is a shame that with the technology we have that it’s not that clear.”
