“We are excited to be able to hand over the head coaching position of AS Roma to Daniele De Rossi, as we believe that the leadership and ambition that have always defined him will be crucial in achieving the club’s objectives until the finish of the current campaign,” the owners shared about AS Roma new boss.
Daniele played for 18 years for the Wolves, joining the senior team after graduating from the team’s academy and playing 616 matches for the 1st team, in which he netted 63 goals.
De Rossi was part of Roberto Mancini’s coaching staff as Italy triumphed in the Euro 2020 that was played in 2021 in England before taking his 1st head coaching position in Serie B side SPAL from October 2022 to February 2023.
