The Ottawa Senators and Trent Mann have parted ways today as he leaves his role of assistant general manager with immediate effect.
#Sens part ways with AGM Trent Mann per Bruce Garrioch. Mann had two years remaining on his contract which included a title change from Director of Amateur Scouting.

The news comes just 1 day after Ottawa president of business operations Anthony LeBlanc resigned from the Sens.
It is not uncommon because the team has new owners, as a group of investors led by Michael Andlauer bought the major stake in the organization from the Melnyk family.
Trent became an assistant GM during that period last year, as before that, he worked as a chief amateur scout for the Canadian NHL organization.
He has been working in Senators since 2010, when he joined the team as a part-time amateur scout and made it for 13 years to the AGM role before leaving today.
Further to Trent Mann’s dismissal by the GM, it’s my understanding he had been banned from the @CdnTireCtr since February or about the time his brother, Troy, was fired as the #bsens coach. #sens
