Aston Villa trash Newcastle 3-0 for 5th straight victory

Aston Villa continued with their impressive form and won 5 straight games in the league by defeating Newcastle 3-0 at Villa Park in Birmingham.

Villa won 7 of their 8 last clashes in the Premier League and finished a draw in the other one.

The Villans started fantastically, and Ollie Watkins hit the post after 60 seconds. Then, in the 11^th minute, Watkins assisted Jacob Ramsey, who scored the 1^st goal in the game.

Alexander Isak missed the best chance for the Magpies in the 59^th minute after a great one-hand save from Emiliano Martinez.

Ollie Watkins scored in the 61^st minute, but VAR disallowed it for offside. However, only 3 minutes later, even VAR could do nothing about it when Watkins netted in the bottom right for 2-0.
