It was another memorable night for Jose Abreu, who homered for a third time in two games, which proved sufficient to lift Houston to their 7th straight ALCS by eliminating the Twins.

Jose Urquidy shone with another solid performance, withstanding home runs by Royce Lewis in the first and Edouard Julien in the sixth before handing the ball to the bullpen.
Hector Neris and Bryan Abreu combined for five strikeouts over 2 1/3 hitless innings. Meanwhile, Ryan Pressly struck out the side in the ninth for the save. He froze Max Kepler with a full-count fastball to wrap it up, leaving former Astros star Carlos Correa on deck.
The Astros will face in-state rival Texas in Game 1 of the ALCS on Sunday in a highly anticipated contest.
