Colorado takes the lead in the series after a blockbuster clash

Colorado Avalanche mounted an impressive comeback to secure a 4-3 overtime victory against the Dallas Stars in Game 1 of their Western Conference semifinal series. Miles Wood emerged as the hero, scoring the game-winning goal in overtime to seal the win for the Avalanche.

Cale Makar had a standout performance, contributing a goal and two assists, while Valeri Nichushkin and Nathan MacKinnon each notched a goal and an assist to fuel Colorado’s comeback. The Avalanche erased a daunting three-goal deficit in the first period ас Mikko Rantanen played a pivotal role with two assists, further bolstering Colorado’s offensive efforts.
