Barcelona are unhappy with the forward after he suffered an injury.

The Catalan side’s preparations for the upcoming El Clásico have taken a serious blow as Robert Lewandowski will be unavailable after he suffered a muscle problem while with the Polish national team. Barcelona are angry with the striker as he remained on the pitch despite feeling discomfort, and that now means that he will be out for a month.

Hansi Flick’s side confirmed that the Polish forward returned with a torn muscle and will be unavailable for at least 30 days as he sustained the problem in the match vs. Lithuania during the World Cup qualifiers. Robert suffered from a similar problem at the beginning of the campaign, but despite that, he decided to finish the match for Poland on the pitch even though he knew what could happen after being examined at halftime.

That now means that he will be out for up to 4 weeks, and he will miss the crucial derby with Real Madrid. The chiefs in Barcelona are angry with Lewandowski for not demanding a substitute when he first felt discomfort and remained on the pitch, which would result in a longer recovery period.
