Barcelona beat Espanyol 4-2 to win La Liga title in style

Barcelona is the new Spanish La Liga champion after beating the city rival Espanyol 4-2.

The victory makes them untouchable at first place with four rounds to go. The Blaugrana have 85 points in front of Real Madrid with 71.

Barca’s goal party started in the 11th minute with Lewandowski’s 20th goal of the season in the championship.

Just nine minutes later Pedri sent the ball into the feet of Alejandro Balde and he scored with a quick shot inside the left post.

The new champions got their fourth in the 53rd minute through Kounde before Espanyol’s two goals in the 73rd and 92nd minute, scored by Puado and Joselu.
