Barcelona edge over Atletico Madrid to get closer to the title

Barcelona was able to defeat Atletico Madrid in their round 30 La Liga derby.

The only goal at Camp Nou was scored by Ferran Torres just before the half-time break when Rapfinha found the Spanish forward into the box and he was able to cut inside and unleashed a powerful shot into the bottom right corner.

Pedri had a chance to double Barca’s lead after an hour of play, but his shot went whisker wide of the left post.

Barcelona is once again 11 points clear at the top with 76, while Real Madrid remain second with 65 points.
