The play-off match gathered 90 255 spectators at Camp Nou

The blockbuster match between Barcelona and Manchester United in Europa League play-offs broke the attendance record in the competition.

Thursday night clash gathered 90 255 fans at the stands of Camp Nou, which is almost 10,000 more than the previous record number that was set at Wembley in 2017.


Back then Tottenham and Gent attracted 80,465 fans. United and Barcelona finished in a 2-2 draw and everything is up for grabs in a week time when the two teams go out for the second game at Old Trafford.
