The Catalans are ready to make a £40m-bid for the 22-year-old
Barcelona are reportedly preparing a £40m-bid for Manchester United’s exile Mason Greenwood in the summer.
The Catalans are ready to give Greenwood the No.10 shirt, worn by none other, but the club legend Lionel Messi.
The 22-year-old has been loaned out to Getafe after not being allowed to return to United’s first squad. So far, he has notched 3 goals and 4 assists in 13 games, which was enough for Barcelona to show interest in him.
Getafe are also keen on making Greenwood’s stay permanent. They currently sit 8th and are in a run of 3 consecutive games without a loss.
However, should the defending La Liga champions make the bid for the 22-year-old, it would be very difficult for him to reject such a chance.
