Messi’s contract with PSG will expire in the summer, and he can leave for free and sign for any team.
The vice president of the Catalan club Rafa Yuste acknowledged on Friday that they would try to get the Argentinian back.
“I am still gutted he couldn’t continue here,” Yuste said at a news conference. “Of course, I would like him to come back because of what he represents on a sporting, social, and economic level.
“We are in contact with [Messi’s camp], yes. Beautiful stories should have happy endings, and there is a mutual love between the two parties.”

Leo, (35) signed from PSG 2 years ago after spending more than 20 years with Barca as the Spanish team didn’t have enough money to renew his contract. The money again can be a problem for him to return to Barcelona.
