Roberto Bautista-Agut, world number 23, shocked world number 3, Daniil Medvedev, and beat him 2-0 sets in a ¼ finals matchup on the grass tournament in Halle, Germany.

The Russian served at the end of the first set to make the result 6-6 and force a tiebreak, but Bautista-Agut broke his serve and clinched the 1st set 7-5.
In the 2nd set, neither of the players lost his serve as Daniil had one opportunity, while Roberto 4 opportunities to make a break, but neither converted them. In the tiebreak, the Spaniard won all the points on his serve and won 2 points when Medvedev served to win the tiebreak 7-3 and, respectfully, the set and the match.
Bautista-Agut is leading 4-2 in head-to-head matches against Medvedev, as that was their 1st clash this year.
Roberto will face in the ½ finals Rublev or Griekspoor, which play later today.
