Bayern Munich will increase their effort in acquiring Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane as two top executives have flown to London in order to negotiate with Daniel Levy.
The Bavarians are fully determined to land the striker and believe they are capable of achieving that.
The previous offer of £70m was rejected, so the Bundesliga champions must improve on that, but the feeling is that Spurs are leaning towards a more acceptable price tag.
Levy, a notoriously difficult negotiator, has been told by the club owner that he must sell Kane this summer, otherwise they face the risk of losing him for nothing next year, when the 29-year-old’s contract expires.
PSG have also emerged as contenders for Kane’s signature, but the English international is believed to be leaning towards Munich, who can all but secure him a trophy he has lacked all of his career.
