Bayern Munich have canceled their tour to Australia and will not be taking part in the A-League All-Stars due to financial constraints.
The tour was set to take place at the end of May after the finish of the regular season, but Bayern has called it off after the organizers were unable to meet their financial demands, say reports.
The All-Star event returned last year, after two years cancellation due do coronavirus restrictions and it was a major success, attracting over 70,000 spectators.
The last minute news is a major setbacks for the Australian fans, who were expecting to see a top class football players just like last year, when Barcelona was the visiting side.
Despite this, Bayern is still looking to book an event in the Asia-Pacific region to prepare for the 2023-24 season.
