FCB president Herbert Hainer has shared that the team has little interest in letting Alphonso Davies leave amid huge interest from Real Madrid for the Canadian player.
Alphonso made his name around the world during his time in the MLS with the Vancouver Whitecaps while still a teenager. the German champions bought him at the beginning of 2019, and he became a crucial part of the 1st team since then – his debut campaign finished with him lifting the Champions League title.
Still just 23 years old, Canada international is wanted by the biggest club in the whole world – Real Madrid.
While Bayern Munich hope to ink Davies with a new, long-term deal, Los Blancos are monitoring the situation with the Canadian. At the same time, 2 Premier League giants are also very interested in him – Man. City and Chelsea.
“Davis is with us under contract until the summer of 2025; he’s 1 of the best full-backs at the moment. Of course, we want to keep Alphonso, and I hope his intention is the same,” Bundesliga champions president Hainer telling claimed.
