Belichick is not sure if Patricia will work for Patriots this season

By this time of the year, most questions about NFL coaching staff are decided, but for New England, one question remains.

When Bill was asked if Patricia would work for New England Patriots, the answer was, “I’m not sure.”

Matt was part of the Patriots from 2004 to 2017 before joining Detroit Lions in 2018. Lions fired him in 2020, and he joined New England again in 2021. The last season he had an even more crucial role as the offensive play caller.

However, things didn’t work well, and Bill Belichick returned his old job to Bill O’Brien. Since then, we didn’t know if Matt Patricia would continue working in the franchise and what his role would be.

After Belichick’s answer, we must wait longer to know if Patricia will be part of the Patriots in the upcoming season.
