The QB left the match against the Jaguars with injured toe.

Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow sustained a left toe problem in today’s match vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Joe was sacked almost 10 minutes before the end of the 2nd quarter of the Bengals’ home opener. After the quarterback was taken down by Jacksonville DE Arik Armstead, a couple more footballers piled on top of the Bengals QB. Burrow tried to gingerly walk to the sideline before he went down on the field and was helped by his team.

The quarterback spent a few minutes in the Bengals’ injury tent before leaving for the locker room. After Joe tried to walk under his own power, he understood that he needed help, and 2 staff members of Cincinnati assisted him to reach his destination. The QB reached the locker room with his left shoe removed.

The Bengals’ star quarterback was ruled out at the beginning of the 2nd half.

Cincinnati reserve QB Jake Browning played until the end of the 1st half and began in the opening possession in the 3rd quarter. Joe was listed as questionable at the start of the 2nd half and was not with his teammates on the bench when the match resumed.
