The NFL has announced a part of its new season’s schedule and one of the standout match-ups is definitely the game between Cincinnati Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs, which will be held on New Year’s Eve, December 31st.
It will be a perfect setting for a AFC Championship Game rematch. The reigning Super Bowl champions will take on Joe Burrow and the Bengals in what promises to be a stellar Week 17 slot.
Cincinnati will be highly motivated to repel the bad memories from the 2022 campaign, when they came short against the exact same opponent after Harrison Butker‘s decisive goal sent Kansas City to the Super Bowl.
A year prior the Bengals pulled one of the most remarkable comebacks in the 2021 AFC title game, overcoming a 18-points deficit in the first half to defeat the Chiefs in overtime and reach the Super Bowl for the first time in 30 years.
So there is plenty of history between the two teams, no to mention the long-awaited match-up between possibly the best quarterback in the world – Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes.
