Simone Biles secured her third gold medal at the Paris Olympics by winning the vault final on Saturday.
She dominated the competition with her signature Biles II vault, earning a score of 15.700, and impressed with her second vault, the Cheng, scoring 14.900. Her average score of 15.300 points gave her a comfortable victory over Brazilian silver medallist Rebeca Andrade and American bronze medallist Jade Carey at the Bercy Arena.

The 27-year-old, already the world’s most decorated gymnast, has now claimed gold in all three women’s events contested so far in Paris, bringing her total Olympic medal count to 10, including seven golds.

Earlier in the Games, she led the U.S. team to victory in the team final and secured her second all-around Olympic title. Biles will have further opportunities to add to her tally when she competes in the balance beam and women’s floor finals on Monday.
