Buffalo agreed to acquire Chicago WR Moore.

The Buffalo Bills landed a new top target for QB Josh Allen after a trade with the Bears to acquire WR DJ Moore.

The Bills are sending this year’s 2nd-round selection to the Bears in exchange for DJ and this year’s 5th-round pick.

Buffalo will be guaranteeing 15.5 million dollars of the wide receiver’s 23.5 million dollars base salary in 2028, his agents revealed. DJ’s 23.5 million dollar base salary this year is fully guaranteed, and his base salary for next year, also the same amount, becomes fully guaranteed in several days.

The exchange cannot officially be processed until the new NFL year starts next week.

DJ, who turns 29 next month, will be reuniting with Buffalo manager Joe Brady. Moore played under Joe with the Panthers when he was the organization’s OC in 2020 and for most of the 2021 campaign (dismissed at the end of the calendar year). Two of the best campaigns in his career came under Joe with the Panthers, including averaging a career-high 18.1 yards per catch in 2020 and totaling over 1,100 receiving yards in both seasons with Carolina while working together.
