Kasperi Kapanen also notched for the Blues. Joel Hofer stopped 29 shots.
“Personally, it was all about the supporters, making sure that we competed for them in this match, getting the victory so the supporters could leave the arena happy,” interim St. Louis manager Drew Bannister shared. “That was the most important thing in this match against the Kraken, which was to bring happiness to our supporters.”
Jared McCann notched the only goal for Seattle as Joey Daccord stopped 25 shots.
St. Louis, who was eliminated from the playoffs two days ago, improved to 43-33-5 with 1 regular-campaign match remaining.
“We just wanted to play well and end on a good note at home… the fans have been supporting us all year and we wanted to go out and play a good game, and I thought that’s what we did today."

Seattle will face the Jets in Winnipeg on Tuesday, while St. Louis will end the season against the Stars in Dallas a day later.
