Ivan Toney turned out to be the star player once again, as he netted home a vital penalty early in the second half (his 22 out of 22 attempts).
Despite the dark cloud looming over him, concerning him breaking Football Association betting rules, Toney didn’t seem one bit affected as he delivered an inspirational performance to help his team close the gap to the top 6.
Thomas Frank made a lightning start and after only 6 minutes they were ahead in the scoring as Ethan Pinnock deflected shot found the back of the net.
Fulham/”>Fulham, however, fought back and in the closing stages managed to draw the score level with Israel forward Manor Solomon continued heading in the rebound after Andreas Pereira’s free-kick struck the post.

Five minutes before full-time Matahias Jansen sealed the victory for the Bees, Carlos Vinicious also put his name on the scoresheet with a consolation goal for Fulham/”>Fulham deep into stoppage time.
