Bronny James showed his potential again but struggled with his shooting in his debut game for the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday, scoring four points on two-for-nine shooting as the Lakers lost 108-94 to the Sacramento Kings in their Summer League matchup.
The 19-year-old son of NBA legend LeBron James scored his first points since being drafted last month with a driving layup off the glass in the second quarter. His second basket came in the third quarter when he used a behind-the-back dribble to create space and hit a pull-up jumper from 15 feet.

In addition to his four points, Bronny contributed two rebounds, two assists, and a steal in 21 minutes of play in San Francisco. A highly-touted high school player, Bronny played one season at the University of Southern California (USC) before it was cut short by a cardiac arrest last year.

LeBron, who is entering his 22nd season and holds the title of the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, has expressed a desire to play alongside his son, a feat no father-son duo has achieved in the league.
