Bryce Young is the first pick at the 2023 NFL Draft

Carolina Panthers chose with the No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft the QB Bryce Young out of Alabama.

Young and Kyler Murray are the shortest QBs to be picked in the number 1 spot.

Bryce is only the 4^th QB since 2006 to be selected that is no more than 6 feet tall, as the other ones are the Arizona Cardinals star Kyler, Johnny Manziel, and Russell Wilson.

Carolina GM was part of the Seahawks in 2012 when they added to their roster Wilson who won the Super Bowl later with Seattle.

Panthers were impressed by Bryce’s intelligence and fast decision-making. Carolina received the 1^st pick from Chicago Bears for the 9^th pick, along with other 4 draft picks and DJ Moore.
