The NBA leaders secure yet another victory

The Milwaukee Bucks came out on top against Indiana Pacers 149-136 on Wednesday night.

Jrue Holiday shined for the Milwaukee team as he bagged home a career-high 51 points. Giannis Antetokounmp had 38 points, 17 rebounds and 12 assists on his return after missing out on Monday’s match against Detroit due to sore knee.

“It’s hard to come up with the superlatives to describe them,” Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer said of his top scorers.

“They were phenomenal. Giannis set the tone with his aggressive attacking. Then Jrue for the whole game to have 51, that’s hard to do in an NBA game.”

Brook Lopez added 21 points for the Bucks, who managed to score a season-high 46 points in the third quarter, building a 12 points cushion over their opponent, which stayed pretty much unchanged for the rest of the game.

Rookie Bennedict Mathurin led Indiana — playing without its top three scorers — with 29 points. Aaron Nesmith had 22, while Jordan Nwora had 18. Rookie Andrew Nembhard had 15 points and 15 rebounds.

The Bucks host Boston on Thursday night, while Pacers host Oklahoma on Friday night.
