Bobby Portis and Giannis Antetokounmpo combined to notch 20 consecutive points during a 25-0 spurt in the middle of the 1st half, and the Milwaukee Bucks humiliated the league-leading Boston Celtics 135-102 at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, WI.
Portis finished with 28 points, and Antetokounmpo notched 24 points as both basketballers had 12 boards to secure the team’s victory for just the 2nd time in 6 matches. Damian Lillard added 21 points in his return to the court after missing Milwaukee’s 132-116 defeat against the Utah Jazz at the same venue at the beginning of the week because of personal reasons.

The home organization led by as many as 43 points in Jrue Holiday’s return at Fiserv Forum, and their 75-38 lead at halftime was their 4th biggest 1st-half advantage in the team’s history. Milwaukee hasn’t competed since Monday, while Boston was back on the court 1 night after defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves 127-120 in OT.

The Celtics allowed its highest point total of the campaign and gave a break to its crucial basketballers for the entire 2nd half. Milwaukee rested its starters in the 4th quarter.
Both teams play again on Saturday as Boston welcomes the Rockets, while Milwaukee will host the Warriors.
