Giannis Antetokounmpo put up an impressive 33 points as the Milwaukee Bucks utilized a strong fourth quarter to secure a 129-118 win against the short-handed Golden State Warriors on Saturday night.
The Warriors (18-21) opted to rest Stephen Curry on the second night of a road back-to-back and are still without the services of Draymond Green. Milwaukee shot an impressive 70% (19 of 27) in the final period, outscoring the Warriors 46-37. Despite a valiant effort by the Warriors, led by Jonathan Kuminga and rookie point guard Brandin Podziemski, the Bucks ultimately secured the victory in the closing minutes.
Kuminga finished the game with 28 points, and Podziemski contributed 23 points on 10-of-14 shooting, along with 10 assists. Klay Thompson added 21 points to the Warriors’ effort.
Bucks’ rookie guard Andre Jackson Jr. made an impact with his first professional double-double, tallying 10 points and 10 rebounds in 28 minutes, displaying hustle plays across the court.
